Bio:
Epic is a rapper from Cleveland, Ohio. Since the young age of 12, he was interested in Rap music. His biggest influence at the time was LL Cool J. As he got older, he started to develop a style of his own and joined the rap group Five-Seven. This was when he had his first taste of professional recording studios and performances. After Five-Seven disbanded in late 2000, he and member Ghetto Joe teamed up with another Cleveland rapper, Fokus, to eventually create the rap group Division III in late 2002. Their debut album "Like it, Love it, Respect it!" dropped on 03/03/03 to positive reviews. This led to a cult following and the group gained additional exposure by opening up for over 30 national artists including: D12, Obie Trice, Three Six Mafia, Styles P of The LOX, Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys, Bizzy Bone, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Wu-Tang, and many more...
This led to record labels scouting them and encouraging the young group to sign. Ultimately, the group decided not to sign to a label and continue being independent.
In late 2003, Fokus left the group and Lil' Snook joined. The group released their softmore album, "Down to business" that solidified Division 3's foothold in Cleveland.
In early 2005, Epic moved to North Carolina. There he connected with rapper Spitz and La La formed the group L.E.S. where more mixtapes created a buzz and lead the group to be invited to the Carolina Music Awards. The music video "Fire and Water" generated a following and views that surpassed 5,000 in just a months time.
After releasing two more mixtapes, Epic decided to move back to Cleveland in early 2011 and reconnect with Division III. The group released 3 more mixtapes, "Blow", "3 Nation", and "3 Kings" with new member Codeine and started the record label, CO2 Entertainment. In 2014, Epic left the record label and decided to take time off from his music career to spend time with his family.
In 2017, Epic created the show, "The Epic Radio Show" and started the media company "Brain Baby Media". The show ran for 5 years and was on iheartradio, YouTube, Twitter (now X), facebook live, and was also recorded and uploaded to all major podcast platforms.
The show was cancelled by Epic due to internal issues and personal matters.
In early 2023, Epic decided to work on a new solo project. "The Church of Epic" will be released on all major streaming platforms in March of 2024.
